Where we rely on legitimate interest, we have considered that this interest is not overridden by your rights and freedoms, and you have the right to object at any time (see Section 8).

4. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell personal data. We may share personal data with:

  • Service providers / data processors who support our operations, such as website hosting providers, email and marketing automation platforms (e.g., ActiveCampaign), CRM systems, and analytics providers. These providers act under our instructions and are bound by data processing agreements.
  • Microsoft, where relevant to your inquiry (e.g., if you request information related to Power BI integration or use of accoTOOL within the Power BI platform).
  • Professional advisors (auditors, lawyers) where necessary.
  • Authorities, where required by law.

We require all processors handling personal data on our behalf to provide appropriate safeguards consistent with GDPR requirements.

5. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers (for example, cloud hosting or marketing platforms) may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Where this occurs, we ensure an appropriate transfer mechanism is in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), an adequacy decision, or an equivalent safeguard recognized under GDPR. You may request further details by contacting us using the information in Section 1.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies on the Website for the following purposes:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Website to function (e.g., load balancing, security). These do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Website (e.g., page views, traffic sources) so we can improve it.
  • Marketing cookies — used to personalize content, measure the effectiveness of campaigns, and support retargeting (e.g., via LinkedIn or similar platforms), and to track engagement through our marketing automation platform.

Analytics and marketing cookies are only set with your consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time via our cookie banner / consent tool at the bottom of the page. You can also manage or block cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect Website functionality.

For a full list of cookies used, their provider, purpose, and retention, see our Cookie Policy.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Form/inquiry data: retained for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and thereafter in line with our CRM/marketing retention practices (typically up to 5 years unless you unsubscribe or request deletion sooner).
  • Marketing communication data: retained until you unsubscribe or object, or as required to demonstrate consent.
  • Analytics data: typically retained in aggregated or pseudonymized form; raw data is generally retained no longer than 26 months, per our analytics and marketing tools' default settings.
  • Contractual/customer data: retained per the applicable agreement and Danish bookkeeping law requirements (generally 5 years for accounting records).

8. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the EU/EEA (or otherwise protected under GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal exceptions;
  • Restrict processing in certain circumstances;
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest or direct marketing;
  • Data portability, where technically feasible;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal);
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Denmark, the Datatilsynet (Danish Data Protection Agency), www.datatilsynet.dk.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 1. We will respond within the timeframes required by GDPR (generally one month).

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, consistent with the sensitivity of the data involved. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
