Budgeting and reporting in one solution
PensionDanmark's main problem was two separate systems for maintaining budgets and comments, a headache for project leaders. accoPLANNING was introduced to solve budgeting and to maintain master data. Jacob Rønnow brought it to the CFO, they evaluated it together, requested a demo and trial, and shaped the features they needed with Accobat. They went live in February 2023. Their favourite functions: the writeback into the Azure SQL database, plus Comments and Audit, which let project leaders comment on the budget.

PensionDanmark is a Microsoft house, running on Navision (NAV), with Power BI on the shelf. Getting accoPLANNING from AppSource was a great fit from a security and compliance point of view: easy to download and work with, and only a matter of a few hours before it was up and running.
accoPLANNING meets expectations
Their missing link was writeback, and accoPLANNING stands out because it is connected directly to Power BI. It was important that the tool had Power BI as its origin, not the other way around. Reporting is built in, and the approval functionality is a key feature. accoPLANNING met all their expectations, and if the success continues they plan to expand it to other areas.

PensionDanmark valued the close dialogue with Accobat during implementation. As a local partner, Accobat was the obvious choice, and they couldn't find another solution that combined budgeting and reporting in the same interface with Power BI as the starting point.
